Rear Facing Until 2 years!?

A couple years ago there was some research that suggested that young children were safer in a rear-facing car seat until 2. Last week the American Academy of Pediatrics formally released a recommendation stating that all children should remain rear-facing until 2 years of age. While this may be frustrating to parents and your children, it really is a simple and very effective way to help reduce the risk of injury when involved in a car accident.
